Class day

Check your child in

Sidebar → Dashboard · /portal/dashboard

Check-in is on the Dashboard, not on the Schedule page. Look for today’s session card.

  1. Open Dashboard and find the session card for the class. It shows the class name, the time, the classroom and the instructor.
  2. Click "Check In {name}" beside your child.
  3. The button is replaced by "Checked in".
  • The window opens 30 minutes before class. Too early and the button is disabled with "Check-in opens 30 minutes before class"; afterwards it reads "Check-in window closed".
  • A cancelled session offers no check-in at all.
  • Your studio can also check students in at the front desk — it lands in the same attendance record either way, so there is no need to do both.

See the week

Sidebar → Schedule · /portal/schedule

  1. Open Schedule. The header shows the week range with ‹ and › arrows, plus a Today button once you have moved off this week.
  2. With more than one child — or more than one studio — a two-button toggle appears: your selected child’s first name, and All children.
  3. Each card shows the class name, the time range, the classroom, the instructor and the day’s note if the class has one.
  • Attendance shows on each card: Enrolled for anything today or later, then Attended, Late or Missed once it has passed. A cancelled session is dimmed, struck through and badged Cancelled.
  • Late means checked in more than ten minutes after the class started.
  • There is no check-in button here — it is on the Dashboard.
  • Only active and trial enrollments produce sessions. An empty week reads "No classes scheduled this week."
  • Times are the studio’s local clock. In All children mode, days are grouped in YOUR local day, so a late class at a studio in another timezone can appear on the next day over.

Follow their progress

Sidebar → Progress · /portal/progress

  • The heading carries the selected child’s name, and their current rank as a badge if the studio has set one.
  • Three tiles: Classes Attended, Attendance Rate and Current Streak.
  • A bar chart, "Attendance (Last 6 Months)", sits below them.
  • A Homework button at the top right takes you to this week’s homework.
  • Use the Viewing switcher to change which child this page is about.

Read the class report

Portal sidebar → Class Reports · /portal/reports

After a class, the instructor may write a recap of what was covered. When they publish it you get an email, and it waits for you here.

  1. Open Class Reports.
  2. Use the Viewing switcher at the top to choose which child you are looking at — the page starts with “Select a student to see their class reports.”
  3. Read down the list, newest first: the class name, the day and time, who taught it, and the recap.
  4. Look for a boxed “Note for {first name}”. That part was written about your child and only you can see it.
  • You only see reports the instructor has PUBLISHED. A draft is invisible to families.
  • You get a class’s reports if your child was enrolled when the session ran, or if they were marked present at it — so a drop-in, or a trial that has since ended, does not lose the reports you were told to read.
  • A report you have already read can change. An instructor may correct one, and it is then badged Edited with the edit date next to the published date. The email only ever arrives once, on the first publish.
  • There is nothing to reply to here. If you want to answer, use Messages.
  • On a phone, Class Reports is in the account menu, and it is offered only while one of your children is enrolled or on a trial.

Do this week’s homework

Portal sidebar → Homework · /portal/homework

Some classes set a weekly routine — a few activities, on particular days, with a target for each. This is where you see it and record what your child actually did.

  1. Open Homework and pick the child with the Viewing switcher.
  2. The week shows day by day. Each item gives the activity, which class it came from (“From {class name}”), and the target.
  3. Type what they actually did into the number box and click Save. The toast reads “Nice work — recorded”.
  4. Use the ‹ and › arrows to move between weeks, or “This week” to come back.
  5. Scroll to Progress for the history — past weeks per class, actuals against targets.
  • You cannot record ahead of the day. Until it arrives the card reads “Record it on the day”.
  • Clearing the box and saving deletes the entry — that is how you undo a number you typed by mistake.
  • Recording late still counts. An item you fill in afterwards is marked Done, not Missed.
  • “Adjusted for you” on an item means your instructor changed the target for your child specifically.
  • “Rest week” or “Nothing has been assigned to {name} for this week.” means there is genuinely nothing to do — not that something failed to load.
  • You cannot change a target, skip a day, or add an activity. Those belong to the instructor; ask them in Messages.
  • On a phone, Homework is in the account menu, and it appears only while one of your children is enrolled or on a trial.
